Summary of Professional Experiences: 

Heidi is passionate about partnering with schools to support special education programming by offering an array of skills in assessment, literacy, mindfulness, data analysis, positive behavioral supports, crisis intervention, trauma-sensitive support strategies and progress monitoring. Over the years she has worked in special education in public and charter schools to provide special education assessment, specialized instruction and case management across multiple grades and disability categories.


​Personal Information:

Heidi grew up in Madison, WI and moved to the Twin Cities area with her family in 2011. She lives in Stillwater with her two teenage daughters and their goofy Labradoodle, Arlo. Heidi enjoys exploring the outdoors, listening to live music, and dancing. In addition to being an educator, she is a certified yoga teacher and a transformational life coach.

How can Heidi help you?  

Heidi strives to inspire collaboration and foster trusted relationships with the students, staff and families she serves. 

  • Conduct comprehensive special education assessments to identify students' learning strengths and areas of need, utilizing data to inform instructional practices and provide targeted interventions.

  • Develop and assist in implementing individualized education plans for students with diverse needs, focusing on specific academic, behavioral, functional and social-emotional goals.

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including administration, parents, teachers, mental health providers and other clinicians to establish and monitor student progress and improve educational outcomes.

  • Provide specialized instruction to create inclusive learning environments that foster students' academic growth and independence.

  • Provide mentorship, training and due process support for staff.
