Summary of Professional Experiences:  

Michelle has experience working in a variety of settings that range from small charter schools to large districts, as well as general education to Federal Setting Four special education. She has up-to-date training in due process, special education evaluation and assessment, evidence based academic and behavioral intervention, crisis prevention and response, social and emotional learning, group and individual counseling, trauma informed practices, equitable practices for diverse learners and more.

Personal Information:

Michelle enjoys a variety of outdoor activities including gardening, taking road trips and exploring parks. During the colder months, Michelle likes to experiment with art projects, cook for her family, and read.

How can Michelle help you?  

Michelle can assist the team with assessment, observation, interviewing, report writing, sharing results and other components of special education evaluations. She can also provide support related to pre-referral interventions, social and emotional learning, counseling, multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) and more. Her passions include supporting trauma informed practices, Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS), fostering equity and inclusion, celebrating diversity and promoting whole-child wellness.
